A Guide to Planning a Successful Scouting Program
Below you’ll find the Program Planning Guide for Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA and Venturing. It is our sincere hope this will be a helpful process to provide your Scouts with the best experience Scouting can offer. It has been successful with other units around the Council and now we want to share the process with you.
Note: Please involve your Unit Commissioner and/or District Executive, as they are there to help you execute all of the steps necessary for a successful Program Year!
Journey to Excellence is the Boy Scouts of America’s performance recognition program designed to encourage and reward success and measure the performance of our units, districts, and councils. It replaces the Centennial Quality Awards Program as a means of encouraging excellence in providing a quality program at all levels of the Boy Scouts of America.
