Assistance provided by the council is made possible by the support of generous donors to Friends of Scouting and our Annual Popcorn Fundraiser. To help support the council’s ability to provide financial assistance, units are strongly encouraged to participate in the fundraising campaign.
The W. D. Boyce Council wants to allow every family to have their youth registered in Scouting and make sure every youth has an opportunity to fully participate in our outdoor programs.
Units may submit requests for financial assistance on their behalf. After a financial assistance request form for either registration or camp fee assistance is submitted, it will be reviewed and, if approved, the family will be provided an opportunity to receive financial assistance. This process may also be used to request financial assistance for adult volunteers.
If you are a parent of a child needing financial assistance (or are an adult volunteer in need) please contact your unit leader to initiate this process. You may also print and complete the Individual Information Form, which will assist your unit leader in submitting an assistance request.
Individual Information Form
This may be printed and used to collect individual information before the unit submits a funding assistance request.
This form may be completed by the family or adult individual and returned to the unit.
