Effective June 1, 2023
The W. D. Boyce Council will suspend the membership of those adult volunteers whose YPT certificate has been expired for more than 30 days.
Communication will be sent from the Council to the member and their Key 3 leadership designating them as a “suspended member” and directing that they should have no contact with Scouting until their membership is reinstated.
At the full discretion of the Council Scout Executive, a volunteer whose membership has been suspended due to the failure to renew their YPT certificate will be permitted to re-take the YPT course and have their suspension lifted.
Any adult volunteer whose membership has been suspended due to the failure to renew their YPT certificate will forfeit their current dues payment and will not be entitled to a refund of their dues payment.
